Back To Love: A fresh take on classic ideals

Back To Love is a monthly party held at the prestigious Royal Standard in South East London's Blackheath. While the music policy explicitly states soul, disco and classic house as the prime cuts you can expect to hear, there is a much broader spectrum and deeper music knowledge at play here.

Named after a favourite Evelyn Champagne King song of Joe's, you soon realise that 80's soul is a personal favourite of his sub-genres of the all encompassing soul tag.

Every month, disco aficionado Joe Carter hand picks a selection of established and up-and-coming DJ talent to represent the ever growing Back To Love brand. Wanting to offer a complimentary selection of music and an ever changing line-up, the DJ roster flits between classic soul and disco heads, house enthusiasts and disco divas. Resident M Dugz drags out all of the classics at the end of the night and you can't help but dance!
